I Will Crash is a beautifully crafted internal monologue (with dialogue!) whose structure draws the reader right into the narrator's head as she explores the complicated and conflicting nature of relationships. The use of word patterns, font changes and pauses in prose are like pauses in thought. Poetic yet not a poem, experimental but an easy read. Ideal for fans of Eimer McBride's A Girl Is A Half Formed Thing.
