We're linking up with our friends at crush - Durham's loveliest independent wine bar with the most diverse selection of wines - to bring you an evening of delicious wine tasting and delectable book discussion.
Ahead of time, we'll all read Lush by Rochelle Dowden-Lord - a lyrical and subtle, but also witty and entertaining read, with a cast of chaotic (often drunken!) sommeliers and wine lovers, perfect for fans of Sally Rooney, Naoise Dolan, and Elif Batuman. On the night, we'll be treated to samples of three wines, chosen to pair with the book, which we'll taste and enjoy while we chat about this sumptuous delight of a book.
